    Welcome to Storytime Cottage, my name is Teresa Merriman. I have been a registered home child care provider since January, 1999. My home is located in the S.E. area of Arlington, Texas. Storytime Cottage is a great place for children to explore and discover new things, sing and dance, and play and wiggle. Then, of course, there is my favorite part of the day---Storytime!!! I love children's literature and I really enjoy seeing their reactions to the wonderful books I share with them. When they ask me to read the same book over and over again, I really don't mind. I love reading to them and I am so pleased when they love books. We also enjoy arts and crafts and just spending the day with our friends.

Why I Do What I Do

I have been asked why I would want to take care of children all day. Well, why wouldn't I want to spend my day with fun people playing with playdough, blowing bubbles, singing silly songs, and wearing funny hats. We love to play outside as much as possible and watch butterflies and birds. We love to run, jump, skip and hop. We love to read good books and eat snacks. We love to dance and laugh. I cannot think of a better way to spend my day!

   A Little More About Me

My husband and I have been married over 34 years. We have 4 wonderful grown children, a fantastic son-in-law and 4 precious grandchildren (just ask us and we will be more than happy to show you pictures of them!)
